Unable To Connect To Pipeline Database While Using Pricing Center

On BRM 731 with overlay patch:
When trying to connect pricing center to pipeline database, the below error is thrown :
"Pricing Center cannot connect to Pipeline database. Please contact your system administrator"
The logs look normal, just like a working case, but there is an exception captured in java console. Below is the snippet :
