Symptoms

In Oracle Financial Services Profitability Management (PFT), when you run an Allocation, one of the following errors occur in the ofspa log in $FIC_DB_HOME/log/FusionApps:

Module Logging OFS errors: (203105) Oracle drv_oci error: OCI Function: [4] - oexec(),
oexn() SQL Function: [189] - SQL function not found! Oracle
Error: ORA- 01438: value larger than specified precision allowed
for this column Driver Function: drv_oci::Execute()


or

Module Logging OFS errors: (203105) Oracle drv_oci error: OCI Function: [4] - oexec(),
oexn() SQL Function: [189] - SQL function not found! Oracle
Error: ORA- 01426: numeric overflow Driver Function:
drv_oci::Execute()


These errors prevent Allocations from completing successfully.
