Calendar 7 Patch 9 Recreates Symlinks Below ../OPT/../DAVSERVER For Data And Config
Last updated on SEPTEMBER 14, 2016

Information in this document applies to any platform.
After installing Calendar Patch 9, we noticed some undesirable results, as it recreated symlinks below ../opt/../davserver for data and config and reset custom data in ashttpd.properties (port and hostname/Interface to listen on).
This is especially frustrating as we had the astore symlinked to a different filesystem and there is no consistency check for the astore, so you end up with an unused fragment and an active one. Recreating the symlink also might bust zfs snapshot browsing as the absolute symlink will take you out of a /.zfs/ location to the 'live' data.
