PDC Installation - Cleaning Up Sample BRM Data

Part of PDC documentation:
1. Go to the PDC_Home/apps/syncpdc/scripts directory, where PDC_Home is the directory in which you installed PDC.
2. Enter the following command, which opens SQL*Plus:
user_name is the PDC database user name.
password is the PDC database user password.
database_Name is the service name or database alias of the PDC database.
Enter the following commands to clean up BRM data:

To clean up batch-rating data:
The sample BRM data is cleaned up.

We should connect as PDC user. If we do so , the IFW tables can't be found (there is no such table like IFW_SERVICE in PDC schema, there is also no synonym and no DB link created) why ?
Qn2: If one connect as IFW user several inserts cannot be done from PDC script (too many characters: current 25, maximum 10)
SQL> Insert into IFW_RUMGROUP
HH.MI.SSXFF AM'),null,to_timestamp('23-FEB-09','DD-MON-RR HH.MI.SSXFFAM'),1,0);
ORA-12899: value too large for column "INTEGRATE00"."IFW_RUMGROUP"."RUMGROUP"
