Symptoms
In Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) Infrastructure, you cannot create or update any T2T (Table to Table) database extracts. While you can begin to create new extracts, when you save them, the extracts' XML files have a size of 0 bytes and are empty in the Ftpshare directory.
For example, if you create a new Extract called "Test", the files Test.xml and Test.properties.xml are created in /<ftpshare>/STAGE/<Data Source>/ but have a size of 0 bytes. This prevents users from creating new extracts and making changes to their existing T2T extracts.
Note: The "ftpshare" directory does have full read/read privileges.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Go to Data Integrator Framework > Warehouse Designer > Database Extracts
- Create a new Extract called Test
While the extract saves, the related XML files have a size of zero bytes.
