There are instances where we are observing ASCP not pegging past due Work Order not pegged to earliest past due requirement.
Profile option MSC: Minimize changes to chronological sequence of supplies' = 'Yes'.
this profile option orders the supplies and demand in past due and pegs the oldest due date to earliest requirement.
1. Please explain what does the profile option 'MSC: Minimize changes to chronological sequence of supplies while rescheduling' do in regards to past due demands/supplies? There is no documentation on this profile option so we could not understand the exact behavior of the profile option. What is the logic behind this profile option and how does it order the supplies and demand.
2. For past due, ASCP cannot randomly peg the supplies with demand. There should be some logic. Please let us know how to order the supplies and demand in past due.
3. Supply is ordered by OLD_DUE_DATE and it is matched to demand. To which demand the supply is matched to? Does it match to its immediate parent demand or it matches the Independent demand and calculates the lead time offset of its children calculating the requirement date and matches to it?
