Last updated on OCTOBER 10, 2016
Applies to:Oracle Communications Service Broker - Version 18.104.22.168.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
PCEF (Policy Controller Enforcement Function) requires that in CCA (Credit Control Answer) –Initial message that sent from PCRF (OCPC - Oracle Communications Policy Controller) will include the following two AVPs:
- AVP: Bearer-Control-Mode(1023) l=16 f=VMP vnd=TGPP val=UE_NW(2)
- (AVP: Supported-Features(628) l=56 f=V-P vnd=TGPP
In case that 2 AVPs are missing, causing the immediate sending back of CCR (Credit Control Request) TERMINATION with Termination-Cause of "DIAMETER_BAD_ANSWER" From PCEF to PCRF. This causes the PDN gateway to not be able to process the request sent by PCRF properly.
