ORPOS Client Freezes Upon Double Click Of User Interface Buttons When Printer And Cash Drawer Are Offline (Doc ID 1525674.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Retail Point Of Service (ORPOS) register hangs upon quick clicking of user interface (UI) buttons when printer, cash drawer are offline.

Prerequisites:

Printer, and cash drawer are offline

Steps To Reproduce:

1. Ring an item on Sell Item screen
2. On 'Tender Options' screen click 'Cash'
3. On 'Device is Offline' screen click on 'Retry' or 'Continue' multiple times quickly
4. Observe POS hangs with error below observed in the log, system should not hang and throw IllegalArgumentException in any functionality or on any user click. Note that this could on any screen in the application:
