Goal

There is a 'custom' script/process which archives the dm_oracle logfile every day (by moving the current log files to an archive location and creating a new file). After this process runs, dm_oracle stop logging. It looks like dm_oracle is not able to write to the new file created after the archive process run. We have to restart dm_oracle to start logging again.

Is there any way to re-open the logfile with out restarting dm_oracle?
