Patching Calendar 7 Should Have All Services Down (Doc ID 1532099.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.


When installing patches for Calendar 7, the Application Server is required to be running.  This means init-config updates the Application Server with a new config that resembles, but is not identical to, what is actually needed as a running config.  So, if for whatever reason, a user happens to connect to that frontend, he might encounter unexpected results, with data loss being likely.
