Recommendations for running REDSAAMT Job (Doc ID 1532340.1)

Goal

REDSAAM job is being executed every night, however it's not processing (not deleting reduntant FT's) any records most of the time.
So, does one really need to run this process every night? Because, this job is taking more than one hour to finish and it's part of our critical batch cycle.

Could this job can be discontinued or what is the recommended frequency (daily or weekly or monthly) if this is needed to be run in the batch process?
