Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

In the Oracle Argus Safety form E15948-01 the memory requirements are a lot higher than the Oracle ARGUS Safety Installation Guide chapter Installing the Argus Safety Database (3) page 3-3.

E15948-01

MEMORY_MAX_TARGET = 10GB
SGA_TARGET = 6GB
SHARED_POOL = 1GB
DB_CACHE = 1.5GB
LARGE_POOL = 100MB
PGA_AGGREGATE_TARGET = 1.5GB
PROCESSES = 800
SESSIONS = 800
DB_FILE_MULTIBLOCK_READ_COUNT = 16
CURSOR_SHARING = EXACT

E35663-01

MEMORY_TARGET = 2GB - 10GB

Are these parameters based on a database size or is Oracle suggesting that we use the parameter settings from above (E15948-01)?
