Purpose

Oracle Retail stores solutions features applications that are specifically designed to help you capitalize on current customer trends and overcome today’s retail challenges while continuing to deliver a brand and customer experience. Oracle Retail stores solutions includes Oracle Retail Point-of-Service, Oracle Retail Back Office and Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management among others. Working together, these solutions create an extensible, standards-based backbone that serves your brand by providing a foundation for your unique business processes and requirements.

Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management can provide inventory position visibility, streamline in-store activities, improve merchandise management and productivity, reduce labor costs, support remote store processes, and manage store-level profit and loss. Using a high-speed internet connection and portable or handheld wireless devices, store managers and store personnel can now quickly and easily perform an array of in-store operations, including receiving merchandise, managing physical inventories, conducting stock counts, ordering merchandise, and transferring stock. Sales updates to SIM, to assure accurate and timely inventory positions.

Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management provides insight into store-level, transfer group, and enterprise level inventory. When tightly integrated with POS, this provides accurate and timely visibility into inventory that is important to providing superior customer service.
