Outlook 2010 with Installed Outlook Connector 8 Crashes During Calendar Sync (Doc ID 1538796.1)

Symptoms

The newly released version of Outlook Connector 8 has been installed, in combination with Outlook 2010.

However, when running a calendar sync, Outlook Connector is crashing.
This is happening at the same entry every time, which means  a successful sync cannot be done.

The windows search engine has been turned off.
