Symptoms

In offline mode, the ORPOS application is taking an excessive amount of time to scan an item.  When client operations are in offline mode, a single item price lookup takes over 6 seconds.  The following query is executed a couple of times during a PLU operation, with each execution taking over 2 seconds:
