BSP 6.0 When Attempting to Initialize BSP Nothing Happens and There is No Error in the Log (Doc ID 1542677.1)

Symptoms

On Oracle Financial Services Balance Sheet Planning (BSP) 6.0, when attempting to initialize BSP, nothing happens and there is no error in the log.

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
After following the step documented in the BSP product configuration:

• Initializing Balance Sheet Planning

Login into Hyperion Planning
Go to Administration -> Application -->Properties
In the Properties window Add new row
o Properly Name = APPTYPE Property Value = BSP
o Restart the Planning Server
Go to Administration -> Initialization->Balance Sheet Planning.

No objects are created in the OFSAA relational database.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
Expect objects to be created after initialization of BSP.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Initializing Balance Sheet Planning

Login into Hyperion Planning
Go to Administration -> Application-->Properties
In the Properties window Add new row
o Properly Name = APPTYPE Property Value = BSP
o Restart the Planning Server
Go to Administration -> Initialization->Balance Sheet Planning.

2. Check Financial Services database for objects created.
