Goal

When doing some analysis of the the data / metadata structure and content of the OFSAA data model there appears to be an anomaly.  Looking at the contents of the metadata table REV_TABLES_B and REV_TABLES_TL, there are rows in this table which refer to a number of tables that do not have a physical representation in the Atomic schema. These tables are:

ASSET_PFT_BI_COLUMNS
BASIC_INSTRUMENT_REQ
CAPFLOOR_CASH_FLOW_PROC_REQ
CASH_FLOW_EDIT_REQ
CASH_FLOW_PROC_REQ
FRA_CASH_FLOW_PROC_REQ
FUTURES_CASH_FLOW_PROC_REQ
LEAF_COLUMNS
LEDGER_LEAF_COLUMNS
LIABILITY_PFT_BI_COLUMNS
MULTI_CUR_REQ
OTHER_PFT_BI_COLUMNS
PORTFOLIO
SERVICE_PFT_BI_COLUMNS
SWAPS_CASH_FLOW_PROC_REQ
TP_BASIC_REQ
TP_BREAK_DETECT_REQ
TP_OPTION_COSTING_REQ
TRANS_LEAF_COLUMNS

These tables seem to represent the entity "super types" present in the ERWIN model. Is it therefore the case that these tables do not need to have a physical representation?
