Connection Orders Taking Long Time to Complete Due to Discount Sharing Groups.

Symptoms
If an account has more than 1000 subscription accounts and has a sharing group at account level, Connection order ( Creation of Account with a plan)is taking more than 30 Mins to complete in production and causing blocking sessions in database. It looks like opcode "PCM_OP_SUBSCRIPTION_SHARING_GROUP_MODIFY" taking 90% time on the order execution time.
Note:
Connection order means, customer is following a order to create a account which include many intermediate action Eg: Creating a balance monitor, Creating sharing group etc.
