Goal
Users want an enhancement for MSS to more easily handle the security setting for popups in MSS Trouble Management
– particularly for the Trouble Ticket Search ( w_ticket_query_monster ) window.
The enhancement should either provide:
• an equivalent “F2 key” to scan the security for the popups; or a
• clear popup naming identification in MSS Admin - Security Permissions
so security setting can be properly (and easily) assigned.
The current functionality makes you go through the MSS Admin - Security - Assign Permissions – Popup Menus and search the correct entry in the w_ticket list
that controls the particular popup and items you want to secure, a very tedious and trial and error method.
