Retail Analytics Does Not Handle Sales for Non-Orderable Items (Doc ID 1550815.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 17, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Merchandising Analytics - Version 13.2.4 to 13.2.7 [Release 13.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Sales transactions for non-orderable items are not loaded into Retail Analytics (RA) W_RTL_SLS_TRX_IT_LC_DY_FS and W_RTL_SLS_TRX_IT_LC_DY_F tables.  Non-orderable items do not have a supplier assigned to them, and the interface SDE_RetailSalesTransactionFact_Item is looking for that relationship in the ITEM_SUPPLIER table.

Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Find a non-orderable and sellable / location with sales in ReSA.
  2. Execute ReSA extract batches.
  3. Execute RA sale SDE batch slsiltsde.ksh.
  4. Check the values in W_RTL_SLS_TRX_IT_LC_DY_FS table.
