Using "copyDomain -clone" Results in mapData Error: "mapData caught Exception: RpasBTreeException: ArrayKeyCompression::compress failed" (Doc ID 1552596.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 02, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Predictive Application Server - Version 13.2.2.26 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Creating a cloned copy of a subdomain resulted in a mapData exception while populating measure arrays.  This may also occur when the reshapeArrays utility is used with -registered option, as the -registered tag is used when copyDomain is executed.  This does not happen when reshapeArrays is used with -db command.

mapData caught Exception: RpasBTreeException: ArrayKeyCompression::compress failed: index 2267 is >= to size 2260, given key ArrayKey(42, 2267, 0, 0) for $DOMAIN_PATH/data/<MEASURE>.db/<MEASURE>%1.ary.

Consequently, running reshapeArrays –d . –registered  without the “–force” option may result in a situation where not all measure arrays are successfully reshaped.  The process will leave out measure arrays whose dimension has not been modified.
