The upgrade/downgrade feature does not work when changing circuits created inside a project.
To Reproduce the issue, please follow the steps bellow:
1 - Create 2 equipments (FE1 and FE2) with MetroEthernet ports.
2 - Create a MetroEthernet Facility (ME Facility) between the functional equipments created in step 1. The facility technology is MetroEthernet.
3 - Create a MetroEthernet network and assign the facility created in step 2 into this MetroEthernet network
4 - Now, change your Server and Client Date (to Day -1).
5- Create a new Design Project and open it. In the project take the steps bellow:
a) create a Circuit (Circuit name = CIRC1, Bandwidth = 20 Mbps) between FE1 and FE2. This circuit is going to ride over the ME Facility through the Network.
This circuit must be a MetroEthernet Technology like Facility create in step 1. In the Functional Equipment Gap Window, choose the Network created in step 3 and select the Entry Node (FE1) and Exit Node (FE2). Please, "edit the network path" and select the facility created in step 2.
b) Complete the Project (File --> Change Project Status --> Implementation Completed)
6- Now, change your server and client date to the current Date.
7- Now, go to Skip Mode (outside a project) and perform the steps bellow:
a) open the Facility Design of CIRC1 created in step 5.a
b) In the Functional Equipment Gap Window remove the network from circuit (right-click in the network circle --> Remove from Circuit)
c) complete the circuit CIRC1 modification
8- Now, still in the skip mode, open the same circuit and resolve the gap between the FE1 and FE2. Choose the same network and the same Entry Node and Exit Node (FE1 - entry node ; FE2 - exit Node). Also, "Edit the network path" and select the same facility created in step 2. Finish the circuit modification
9- Finally, try to Downgrade the CIRC1 to 10Mbps (right-click on the CIRC1 --> "Upgrade/Downgrade signal")
Results: the following message will appear "Cannot upgrade/downgrade. Please enter a different value".
The problem is that the "Effective From" date has a different value value from the initial Circuit. Objectel Server does not allow to upgrade or downgrade the signal. However, the project was completed and this should not interfere in the upgrade/downgrade functionality.
When the user creates the CIRC inside a project, the "Effective From" date is Day -1, but, when the user edit the circuit (in the skip mode), the "Effective From" is the current date. This is causing a mismatch of dates which does not allow the upgrade/downgrade feature. But other features are ok. So, basically the upgrade/downgrade feature cannot deal with the circuits created and completed inside a project.
The purpose of changing the date of the server is to simulate the following: create the facility inside a project at one day and change the network path another day in the future.
