Last updated on SEPTEMBER 14, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing - Version 2.3.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

There is a Java Messaging Services (JMS) integration with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) where XML requests are retrieved from the queue which is created at SOA weblogic end, at SOA end there are six managed servers and because of this there are six(1-6) different instances in the queue. When starting Customer Care and billing (CCB) Multi purpose listener (MPL) which is used for listening all kind of integration services, at SOA it listens to only 1 instance (number 4) of SOA queue. So when multiple messages are sent by Source module , SOA services place these XML messages in the diffent instances of the queue by using internal load balancing. So the xmls which are placed in the 4th instance are being listened and reaches to CCB but messages in the other instances gets stucked.

How can one increase the number of listensers in the SOA JMS queue?

Note: At CCB end there are two physical server running in external clustering env.and there is no managed server configured, only Admin server is available and also MPL server is running on only one node.
