Aps.bat Does Not Run from command line (Doc ID 1556462.1)

Goal

Customer is on 7.3.1.4
When they try to run the aps.bat from the command line (APS.BAT EXPORT_DATA HDZ_EXPORT_AP HDZ_EXPORT_AP), they get the following error


2013-04-29 11:56:14,127 CDT main FATAL appserver.fatal: The system had failed to establish connection to the configured datadase settings (in the DataSource.properties configuration file). Please verify database details settings.

Caused by: java.net.UnknownHostException: dmdesarrollo


The Data source is configured properly and with the same set up and credentials one can connect to the DB with SQLPlus and SQL Developper. SP_CONFIG.BAT also connects allowing the user to change the Table Space Settings, Mail Settings and General Settings.

The customer is able to run the same integration interface through a workflow with a Transfer step. It is only when they run it from the command line that the issue occurs
