Customer has a problem updating OSM 7.0.1 Patch 18 to OSM 7.0.1 Patch 18.1. The installation program did not upgrade the DB schema, instead it was insisting that the correct version was already installed. Fact is, that the DB schema was on level 126.96.36.199.482 (for Patch 18) . The solution was to backup the installation directory ($HOME/OSM) and install in a new empty directory ($HOME/OSM_2)- after that the installation program did upgrade the DB schema.
Is this a known problem? which entries in the installation directory can cause this behavior?
