Play Voucher Redeemed Information Feature Node Randomly Orders Retrieved Balance Types from VWS (Doc ID 1559632.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 03, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 4.4.1 and later
Oracle Solaris on SPARC (64-bit)

Symptoms

On NCC (Network Charging and Control) 4.4.1+, when using a "Play Voucher Redeemed Information/Balance" Feature Node (PVRB FN) to inform a Subscriber of what balance types were updated, the order of the announcements played are not consistent.

For example, if a Voucher Type contains multiple balances eg. General Cash and Free SMS, then there is no way to control the order which the values for those particular balances are substituted when playing announcements with substituted variable parts.

In other words, there is no way to control where the played announcement will correctly be:

"You have recharged 10 dollars. Your promotion was 500 SMS"

 or incorrectly be:

"You have recharged 500 dollars. Your promotion was 10 SMS"

Changes

Attempting to use the PVRB node.
