Duplicate Terms Are Created in Datasheets After Re-Code (Doc ID 1563865.1)

Last updated on MARCH 08, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Argus Safety Japan - Version 6.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After Re-Code is executed, in some Datasheets, some existing Terms Terms changes into duplicated Terms with other existing Terms.

If a Term PT#1 in the previous Meddra/MeddraJ version is changed to another Term PT#2 in the new Meddra/MeddraJ version,
and if both of the PT#1 and PT#2 existed in a Datasheet when Meddra/MeddraJ was previous version,
Re-Code simply changes the Term PT#1 to PT#2 in the LM_LABELED_TERMS table.
As the result, duplicate PT Terms, PT#2, becomes to exist in the Datasheet (in LM_LABELED_TERMS table).

For example, this is occurred by the following Meddra/MeddraJ term.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Meddra/MeddraJ ver.15.1:
TermCode/English/Japanese
10033295/Overdose/過量投与
10057867/Multiple drug overdose/多剤過量投与
Meddra/MeddraJ ver.16.0:
The PT '10057867/Multiple drug overdose/多剤過量投与' has been downgraded to LLT,
and its parent PT term is '10033295/Overdose/過量投与'.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Once this issue has occurred, when the duplicated PT term exists in a Case as an Event, the following issue occurs.

A)
If this Case is tried to be opened, the following Error message is displayed on a pop-up window.
ERROR MESSAGE:
-------------------------------------------------------------
Error No: 301300103 Description: The case id is not valid.
It does not exist. Please try again.
-------------------------------------------------------------

B)
If a new case is tried to be created with a product which is using the datasheet,
the following Error message is displayed on a pop-up window and case cannot be created.
ERROR MESSAGE #1:
------------------------------------------
エラー番号: 301300103
詳細: *** J The case id is not valid.

-----------------------------------------
ERROR MESSAGE #2: (displayed after error#1)
