Booked Resources are Declined After the Event Has Been Saved in Lightning (Doc ID 1566450.1)

Goal

When using Lightning as Calendar client, it is possible to create an event and invite a resource of which afterwards becomes clear it was already busy at the time of the event.   Meaning, the event is saved and next an email is being send to the organizer, informing that the event is declined!

Why does it not show a double booking error when the event was being saved ?
