ASAP Active-Active Site Configuration Support (Doc ID 1566992.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 13, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Communications ASAP - Version 7.0.2 to 7.2.0 [Release 7.0.0 to 7.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

There are 2 Production Servers A and B. Currently, these servers are in Active-Standby settings.

The architecture is 2 tier, with managed WebLogic 11g and ASAP7.0.2 with RAC databases.

Due to increasing requests to reduce the deployment outage, plan is to set the 2 servers Active-Active with a WebLogic admin server.

So, the new settings will be:

Server A : Admin WLS, 1 Managed WLS A, ASAP Instance (Env Id PROD), Same RAC Database
Server B : 1 Managed WLS B, ASAP Instance (Same Env Id PROD), Same RAC Database

Are there any issues in this config from ASAP perspective?

Also, ASAP has not been clustered as there are 2 different physical hosts.
