Model Upload Failed with ORA-01430 Column being Added Already Exists in Table (Doc ID 1567490.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to perform model upload using Slice or Incremental mode the following error occurs.

ERROR
Error while executing Update :Failed Executing Query. Reason: ORA-01430: column being added already exists in table

The columns being added to the data tables were added to the data model a long time ago but the upload is trying to add them again. 
For example:

fsi_d_mortgages

 The Column CUR_NET_PAR_BAL_C has been added new.
 The Column ORG_BOOK_BAL has been added new.
 The Column PRODUCT_ID has been added new.
 The Column ORG_UNIT_ID has been added new.
 The Column COMMON_COA_ID has been added new.
