Error 'Failed Saving Activity Data' and 'IO Error: Socket read timed out' Or Activity Code Assignments Not Copied While Trying to Copy and Paste a Project in P6 (Doc ID 1569696.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to copy and paste a project, it appears to complete successfully without error, however Activity Code Assignments are not copied into the pasted project.

Monitored SQL Executions of the copy / paste process show the following errors:

ERROR:
ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel
ORA-04088: error during execution of trigger `ADMUSER.RT_TASKACTV

Or

The following error occurs when attempting copy / paste.

Failed saving activity data

And when reviewing the Web Access log file (P6WebAccess.html) the following error is found:

Original Exception:
   com.primavera.PhoenixException: DBEngine.executeStatement for {call PROJECT_COPY(?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?)}failed:IO Error: Socket read timed out
