ALM / RM Process Hangs While Processing Records in an Instrument Table (Doc ID 1570790.1)

In Oracle Financial Services Asset Liability Management (ALM) or Oracle Risk Manager (RM) 4.5, when you an ALM Process or an RM Process ID, the process hangs while processing records in an instrument table.  In ALM, the process is stuck in a status of "Processing".

In RM 4.5, in the Server Status Update screen, the "Record Count" is stuck at a specific number with a "Status" = Executing.  In the example below, the process is stuck on the first record:

You have eliminated a lack of shared memory as the possible cause by either re-booting the physical server or by following the instructions in <Document 1249359.1> "Risk Manager Process Hanging and Not Processing Records" to clean the shared resources.
