Symptoms

pin_ctl doesn't clear log files after installation of 7.5 PS4 <Patch 16940835>

E.g.

brm> ls -lrt $PIN_LOG/dm_oracle
total 84
-rw-rw-r-- 1 brm users 2548 Jul 4 15:44 dm_oracle.log
-rw-rw-r-- 1 brm users 74943 Jul 4 15:44 dm_oracle.pinlog


brm> pin_ctl clear dm_oracle
Successfully cleared logs at Thu Jul 4 17:01:15 2013


brm> ls -lrt $PIN_LOG/dm_oracle
total 84
-rw-rw-r-- 1 brm users 2548 Jul 4 15:44 dm_oracle.log
-rw-rw-r-- 1 brm users 74943 Jul 4 15:44 dm_oracle.pinlog
