Applies to:

Oracle Communications Messaging Server - Version 7.0.0 to 7.0.4 [Release 7.0.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

imapd or popd processes dump core, causing watcher to request the store be restarted (if autorestart is enabled) during or soon after running rehostuser.

The stack of the core dump will show a heap corruption type problem - a SEGV or BUS error in a memory allocation routine like malloc() or free().

Users are being moved between systems using the rehostuser command. It could also happen if imsconnutil -k is used to disconnection users.
