Store Orders - "Severe System Error" Occurs When Quantity Field Entered Is Null

In Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management (SIM) 13.2.5, when creating a Store Order, a severe system error occurs when the quantity is passed as NULL for any item, and the user is unable to proceed further.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. From SIM Main Menu, navigate to Inventory Management screen.
2. Click Store Orders button.
3. Click Create.
4. Enter Item ID.
5. Double click the quantity field and click the Enter key.
6. A severe system exception is displayed.
