In a new instance with MWM 2.1 the mobile client app gives an error when the user is authenticated.  With one public address, our firewall does a port address translation and routes the requests to the appropriate server depending on the port by which they are received.

mwm.mwm21.com is the name with the public address and the error is:

 
Using a protocol analyzer you can see that MWM is trying to open a connection to the public IP address
