Webserver Name in Web Client Help | About Window Always Showing the Same Server Name on Clustered Environment (Doc ID 1574657.1)

Symptoms

Actual Behavior

Agile PLM is running in WebLogic clustered mode.
When logging into Web Client and going to Help > About, WebServer Name always showing the same Managed Server.

Expected Behavior

When logging into Web Client and going to Help > About, WebServer Name to show the managed server being accessed.

Steps

  1. Set up clustered instance with two managed server nodes, Managed1 and Managed2
  2. Access to Web Client using Managed1 Server URL: http:{Managed1_server_name}.{domain_name}:{port}/Agile/PLMServlet
  3. Go to Help > About, and see the server name of Managed1 in the WebServer Name
  4. Access to Web Client using Managed2 Server URL: http:{Managed2_server_name}.{domain_name}:{port}/Agile/PLMServlet
  5. Go to Help > About, and still see the server name of Managed1 in the WebServer Name
