When session failover is enabled on Oracle ATG versions running on JBoss 5, the ATG session appears to fail over on every request. This happens even though the session did not fail over to another server instance in the cluster.
Enabling loggingDebug on the /atg/userprofiling/ProfileFailService component shows the following logging on each request:
The "Profile 1260000 was loaded for this session" indicates that the session failover code restored the user's profile from session backup.
