Symptoms
In Oracle Financial Services Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP), an adjustable rate account that reprices between the As of Date and the Prior Period Date defined by the Propagation Pattern is getting assigned a propagated rate instead of getting a new calculated transfer rate. The record has the following characteristics:
ADJUSTABLE_TYPE_CD=250
AS_OF_DATE=5/31/2013
LAST_REPRICE_DATE=5/31/2013
NEXT_REPRICE_DATE=6/30/2013
According to the Funds Transfer Pricing User Guide, for records to get a propagated rate, they must meet following requirement:
It must be an adjustable-rate (Repricing Freq <> 0 in Target
table) instrument with Target Last Repricing Date <= Prior
Period As of Date. . In other words, it must be an
adjustable-rate instrument that has not repriced since the
prior period.
The records with this issue have repriced since the prior period and should not get a propagated rate. Instead, they should get a new calculated Transfer Rate.
