Goal

Is there any order that need to be followed when mapping SCD tables in SYS_STG_JOIN_MASTER? Is there any dependence on the underpinning column order in the source table or view?

The following is an example of Mapping of DIM_CUSTOMER to DIM_CUSTOMER_V:

MAP_REF_NUM COL_NM COL_TYP STG_COL_NM SCD_TYP_ID PRTY_LOOKUP_REQD_FLG COL_DATATYPE COL_FORMAT
10 F_LATEST_RECORD_INDICATOR LRI Y   N VARCHAR
10 N_CUST_SKEY SK SEQ_DIM_CUSTOMER.NEXTVAL   N NUMBER
10 V_D_CUST_REF_CODE PK V_D_CUST_REF_CODE   N VARCHAR
10 D_RECORD_START_DATE SD SD   N DATE
10 D_RECORD_END_DATE ED 31-DEC-9999   N DATE
10 V_D_CUST_FIRST_NAME DA V_D_CUST_FIRST_NAME   N VARCHAR
