When Fixing Bug 14545818, Different Parameters In Config-backend And Jdbc_mysql.xml Was Not Considered
(Doc ID 1577697.1)
Last updated on MARCH 05, 2019
Applies to:Oracle Communications Calendar Server - Version 7.0 (JCS 7) to 7.0.4 [Release 7.0.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.
When running the "config-backend" perl script as seen on this wiki page, in that script, there seems to be a hard-coded mismatch to the jdbc_mysql.xml defaults:
- Configuring Calendar Server with Multiple Hosts - https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E63133_01/doc.80/e63135/csins_configure_multhosts.htm#CSVIG312
So, administrators would expect a freshly installed calendar server to have a proper DUAL table check configured for the "init" based config. But, lack that validation for additional backends introduced by running the perl script.
