NONEXISTENT Mailbox after Manipulating Mail Folders with Thunderbird

When attempting to open mail box after a folder was renamed, moved or deleted with Thunderbird,
the following error occurs in Thunderbird:

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

  1. rename, move or delete a folder with Thunderbird 
  2. error appears

Due to this issue, users receive annoying messages and cannot rely on what is displayed in client.

This may happen with other clients like Outlook too.
