Indexes Incorrectly Created in the USERS Tablespace (Doc ID 1578398.1)

Last updated on MAY 10, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 4.4.1 to 5.0.0 [Release 4.4 to 5.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Some application database indexes have been incorrectly created in the USERS tablespace on the SMS (Service Management System) and SLC (Service Logic Controller) platform.  It is expected that these application indexes are created in their own specific tablespace.

A simple database query shows the application indexes being stored in the USERS tablespace:

$ sqlplus /
...
SQL> set pages 200 lines 132
col owner format a10
col table_name format a30
col index_name format a30
col tablespace_name format a30

SQL> SELECT
  owner, table_name, index_name, tablespace_name
FROM
 all_indexes
WHERE
 index_name IN
  (
   'CCS_BPL_SCREEN_BUTTON_UQ',
   'CCS_CC_INFO_PK',
   'CCS_CC_MASK_RULE_PK',
   'CCS_CC_SUB_LINK_PK',
   'CCS_DOMMIG_PK',
   'CCS_SECURE_CONFIG_PK',
   'CMN_PERSISTENT_STORE_IDX_KEY',
   'DAP_CONV__PK',
   'SCH_PK_IX'
 )
OR
 tablespace_name = 'USERS'
ORDER BY
   tablespace_name, table_name, index_name
;
