Multiple Rate Plan Versions Active With The Same valid_from Date (Doc ID 1579444.1)

Goal

Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management(BRM), 7.2.0.3.0 version, Multiple Rate Plan versions are active with the same valid_from date.

Here it is observed that several pipeline rateplans were configured with two rate plan versions for each rate plan and those rate plan versions are active with the same valid_from date.

For example :

ifw_rateplan --> Assume we have rate plan RP1 And it has two versions 1 and 2.

ifw_rateplan_ver -->

RatePlan              Rateplanversion            valid_from              active
-------------           ----------------------          --------------             ---------
RP1                               1                          6th Jul 2013             Yes
RP1                               2                          6th Jul 2013             Yes

Assume, there is a CDR with the charge date as 5th August 2013. Would BRM pipeline manager consider the rateplan version 1 (or) does it consider the latest version i.e rate plan version 2 ?
