Last updated on AUGUST 19, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 5.0.0 to 5.0.1 [Release 5.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

This problem happens on Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (OCNCC/NCC) releases 5.0.0.0 and 5.0.0.1, when adding a new routing rule with its "Routing Class" set to "Submit" using the Messaging Manager Scheme screen:

Services -> Messaging Manager -> Configuration -> Schemes Tab
Open the relevant Scheme -> Routing Tab

The problem can be described as follows :

  1. The new rule does not show in the "Routing tab" after saving
  2. The "Paths" entry of a previous routing rule now shows the "Paths" entry of the missing rule entry.
  3. When pressing the "Refresh" button, the new entry appears but has no "Paths" entry.

Changes

There is no particular change besides the update to the NCC software version 5.0.0.0 or 5.0.0.1 where this problem was discovered.
