Oracle Communications Calendar Server - Version 7.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When migrating from Calendar 6.3 to Calendar 7, an event which has a description containing BYTE 0X19 (^Y) characters is passing the migration, but, the event is not visible in Lightning.

With Lightning, when an event with a description with byte 0x19 (^Y) is encountered, it does not show this event in Lightning.  An error is shown in the error console.  But, the message shows this is minor error.

Message shown by Lightning:
"There has been an error reading data for calendar: cds-caluser38.  However, this error is believed to be minor, so the program will attempt to continue.
Error code: READ_FAILED"

We are able to create new events using Lightning and also fetch events using 'Synchronize Calendars' after the migration of this event. So, even after this error appears, the calendar is still usable. And, only a warning icon is displayed for this calendar.
Message log on Lightning error console.
