Order Auto Close (ORDAUTCL) Batch Incorrectly Uses 'Not After Date' Instead of the Latest Ship Date (Doc ID 1580214.1)

Last updated on JULY 27, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Merchandising System - Version 13.2 to 13.2.6 [Release 13.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In Retail Merchandising System (RMS) 13.2, the ORDAUTCL (Order Auto Close) batch is using the ‘latest_ship_date’ instead of the ‘not_after_date’ while selecting orders for auto closing.

Steps to Reproduce:

1.    Set the system options as ORD_AUTO_CLOSE_PART_RCVD_IND=Y and ORD_APPR_CLOSE_DELAY=15.
2.    Create an approved purchase order (PO) on VDATE. Do not ship or receive it.
3.    Advance the VDATE to VDATE+15.
4.    Run the ORDAUTCL batch.
5.    Observe that the order is still in ‘A’ status.
