In some production environments, some recurring error messages (or other messages) in the Oracle Communications Converged Application Server's (OCCAS) log are there for an informational purpose or are part of the normal system's operations, but in case there are too many occurences of these error messages, they can potentially generate additional load on the OCCAS server and ultimately have a performance impact. This document's goal is to guide the user in setting up a message filter in the Weblogic's administration console to filter these message and reduce load, specifically the I/O usage on the server.
