Symptoms

Unable to create or edit solutions on all Knowledge server instances.
This problem does not occur on the indexing server which also runs Service.Knowledge module.
This is not a user specific issue and happens to all users.
The default 'service' account can create/edit solutions in the indexing server but not Knowledge servers.

The following NPE was found during the start up of knowledge server instances. This error was not found in the indexing server's log.
