Goal

We setup environment variable $DATAOUT (DATAOUT=/app/data_output) in our Linux shell, which we used to substitute actual directory path when passing the FILE-PATH Output directory path value during batch job submission.
It works for any Cobol based batch jobs. However, none of Java based batch job accept the variable.

Any way to make it work for java based batch program?
